WHO WE ARE

Vermont Resident Service Coordinators is a professional group dedicated to providing educational and peer support to individuals and organizations offering resident service coordination services in housing across Vermont.

A BRIEF HISTORY

In 1995, a small group of Vermont resident service coordinators began meeting informally for support and information. In order to meet the HUD mandated guidelines for service coordinators, the group added an educational training session to the meeting agenda.

The need for professional development continued to grow and, as a result, the group decided to organize and incorporate.

In 2002, VRSC's by-laws were written, the first officers were elected, and the group incorporated to become Vermont Resident Service Coordinators, Inc.

VRSC, Inc. offers support, training, and educational opportunities to its members. Meetings will include trainings and will be held two times a year, in the fall/spring.
