VRSC is a membership organization of professionals from throughout the state. Offered in the spring and fall, trainings include lunch and are open to the public for a small fee of $10. VRSC and VHMA members can attend at no charge. With attendance averaging around 50 people, the trainings cover topics that are not only relevant to Resident Service Coordinators, but other housing professionals, social workers, and community service providers. These meetings are an excellent opportunity to network, build relationships, and learn best practices. Throughout the process of VRSC's development, Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA) has been a constant presence. Since the beginning, VHFA has assisted, sustained, and shared in VRSC's work and success.
Vermont Housing Managers Association
In a newly formed collaboration, VHMA and VRSC recognize each other's membership status and share training opportunities. Both organizations believe that managers and resident service coordinators face the same challenges inherent in managing elderly and family housing facilities and therefore, VRSC and VHMA are partnering on training events to support the common purpose of each other's organizations.

NERSC and VRSC cross-promote trainings through their website, social media accounts as well as in NERSC's monthly e-newsletter. In addition, NERSC provides visibility and membership recruitment opportunities at the annual conferences.
